We receive numerous inquiries about the process of shipping a Monkey. People often ask about its safety and how it works
WILL THE MONKEY BE FRIGHTENED? HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE? WILL IT BE CHALLENGING FOR THE MONKEY TO BE ALONE IN A CRATE FOR SUCH A LONG TIME?
This is how I explain the shipping process to ease individuals’ concerns about getting a Monkey.
SHIPPING A MONKEY IS INDEED VERY SAFE. PLEASE SEE THE DETAILS BELOW.
Shipping a Monkey to a new location may initially seem cruel and distressing, but in reality, it is often harder for us humans than it is for the Monkeys. With my extensive shipping experience, I can confidently assure you that all the Monkeys are well taken care of. Airlines have a strong incentive to ensure the Monkey’s well-being, as mistreatment could lead to lawsuits and dissatisfied customers. I attach food and feeding instructions to the crate and provide frozen water, which gradually thaws for the Monkey’s convenience. They are also offered food during the journey.
To minimize transit stress, we always request direct flights. We provide a comfortable bed of shredded newspapers and often include a pig’s ear chew and a toy or sock with our scent to help the Monkey feel secured.
Shipping is considered as an option because, although we find suitable homes for our Monkeys, they may not be located within a reasonable driving distance.
YOU MAY BE WONDERING, IS FLYING A MONKEY SAFE?
This question is frequently asked, and we wouldn’t consider it if it weren’t safe.
The Monkey will be in the same air as the pilot flying the plane, and someone will be there to take care of them on board. We do not transport the Monkeys in the cargo section of the plane; they are shipped in the passenger section along with pet nannies until delivery is completed.
Our Monkeys have always arrived safely and in good health at their new homes. In fact, some have even said that it is more comfortable to fly a Monkey than to drive with them for four hours or more.
